FAN-REPORT (Posted April 29th, 2007)

Many of you took THIS opportunity to send us your stories, pictures etc from Sophie's latest "Memory Loves You" tour. So here it is; The Fan-Report:.

March 12th, 2007: Stockholm, Sweden:

"A concert with Sophie is like visiting your friend Sophie. She tells brief, personal messages between the songs, and answer requests from the crowd. One of the highlights was ”You And Him”, normally an up-tempo song, but it turned out to be one of the slowest songs this evening. But at the end of the song the band suddenly gives everything and receives an enthusiastic response in return. Even "To Know You" get very much well-deserved applause." - Christian Boo (Sweden)

March 13th, 2007: Stockholm, Sweden:

"I and my girlfriend attended your concert in Stockholm the 13th of March, and it was a wonderful experience. We are great fans of yours, and this was the first time we had the opportunity to listen to you live. We like the cooperation you have with your skilful musicians and also the order of songs that built up an atmosphere of emotions that ended in a breathtaking moment with the musical crescendo in the song "Love On My Mind" combined with your perfect timed whispering ending. March 18th, 2007: Gothenburg, Sweden:

"I don't understand what people mean when they say that Sophie is doing the same stuff all over again and again. Have they been listening to Sophie? I don't think so. Maybe they have heard Sophie, but they have not been listening. That's a big difference, and that's what a concert with Sophie is all about: listening. The most passionate songs you can imagine – accompanied by acoustic guitar, piano, and the best instrument of all; Sophie's voice – is coming out from the speakers. Nobody sings like Sophie. Her soft, magical voice hypnotized me (and probably everybody else) at Trädgår'n in Gothenburg. Thank you so much for this great experience!" - Charlie (Norway)

March 23rd, 2007: Norrköping, Sweden:

"Thanks for a beautiful experience! It was with a beautiful feeling I went to Norrköping that evening. The concert was wonderful and my feelings floated around to your music, even my tears. Powerful, very powerful! I was ready to order tickets for some of your concerts in Europe then I suddenly discovered that you also would be touring in Sweden. I got very excited! A friend of mine introduced me to your music in early 2006, and I felt paralyzed. Totally paralyzed. Thank you beautiful Sophie for your music. "The concert was great! Sophie was absolutely enchanting and Lasse was given some opportunity to show how fantastic he plays the guitar when he's in really good shape. As far as I can remember, this time the songs had an even more dynamic range than last year at the same location. So for me, it was a perfect evening together with Sophie. 

After the great concert in the "Prime Club", Cologne, Germany, me and my friends Markus and Rindert from the Always-Sophie.com - forum also had the pleasure of meeting Sophie and her band, and they were kind enough to let us take a few pictures and sign our stuff. Thank you, Sophie, Lars, Peter, Thomas and Robert, for being so nice to your fans! It's always a pleasure to see you performing this great music." - Bernd (Germany)

"I saw you and your band in Vienna, it was for me a really imposing evening to listen to your minimalist songs, which express so much. Many journalists say you are shy by nature, I don’t think that’s explains you, my opinion is that you are living in a complex world, and you try to concentrate on the essential things. I am sure many people don’t understand your way of life, I admire your differentness, you didn’t change your personality in spite of the music industry. I am telling you my point of view because I have often moments I would be happy to go a straight way like you, but in my work and in everyday life its not always possible. Its funny yesterday at the concert I noticed that you are looking mostly rightwards when you are singing, I had fortune because I stand there, so I could admire your bewitching glance and your expressive eyes. "By accident I found music of Sophie Zelmani and will never forget that moment. Listening to her music is like listening to fairytales or enjoying a hot bath... A golden voice singing beautiful melodies. I first listened to "Decade of Dreams" and now I have all her music. "Dreamer" is a special song I listen to very much.
